Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for everything described here is Nodegrove, run by its founder, a sole trader in Lithuania. Write to info@nodegrove.io about anything on this page. A person reads that address, not a ticketing system.
The controller is the founder personally, a sole trader in Lithuania, not a company. You can request the operator's full legal identity at any time by writing to the address above.
If you subscribe to the newsletter
The form asks for one thing: your email address. The rest is recorded with it automatically.
| What | Why | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address | To send you the monthly email. Nothing else. | Yes |
| The language of the page you signed up on | To send the issue in that language when one exists. | Collected automatically |
| The page you signed up from | To learn which pages people find useful enough to subscribe from. | Collected automatically |
| The site that referred you, if any (its address without the query string), and the campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) | To know where people are finding us. | Collected automatically |
| Your country | Two letters, from the network. | Collected automatically |
| The date and time you subscribed, and when you confirmed | To show you asked for it. | Collected automatically |
Our lawful basis
Consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You give it by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Unsubscribing deletes your address rather than flagging it, so we keep no list of people who left. The first email asks you to confirm; if you never confirm, your address is deleted within 30 days of that email.
What we send you
One email a month about new open models, prices and our measurements. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works in one click. The service that sends the emails will be named in the table below before the first issue goes out.
Earlier sign-ups
Until 21 October 2026 this site had an early-access waitlist and a short survey for a GPU jobs service that we have since shelved. Those entries are kept apart from the newsletter, and nobody on them was added to it. We will send the people on the waitlist one email saying the service is shelved, with a link to subscribe if they want to, and then delete the waitlist and the survey answers by 30 November 2026.
If you only read the site
Reading a page here does not create an account, set a tracking cookie, or add you to anything.
- Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is measured without cookies and without building a profile of you. It reports page views, referrers and coarse country (the same things a server log would show) and does not follow you to other sites. Apart from the daily counts below, there is no other analytics on this site.
- Counts. Clicking through to a provider, getting an answer from one of the checkers, or subscribing adds one to that day's total. A total records the date, the page, which of the three it was, the provider or checker, the site that referred you, if any (its host only, such as google.com), the campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) and your two-letter country. Nothing else goes into it: no cookie, IP address, browser details or identifier, so a total says how many, never who. Links to providers pass through nodegrove.io/go/ to be counted, carrying the page, referring site and campaign tags in their address. Totals are deleted after 13 months.
- Bot protection. The newsletter form can be protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which then loads only on pages carrying the form. When you submit it, Cloudflare receives your IP address and some signals from your browser to judge whether you are a person. Turnstile does not track you across websites, and it is not present on any other page.
- Rate limiting. Your IP address is used in the moment to stop the form being flooded. It is not written to the database. The only location we store is the two-letter country.
- Server logs. Cloudflare keeps standard edge logs for a short period as part of running and protecting the service.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie when its bot protection or security services are triggered; that one exists to keep the site available, not to profile you.
If you use the MCP server
The MCP server at mcp.nodegrove.io answers AI assistants' questions about whether a model fits a GPU. It needs no account and stores nothing.
- What it receives. The tool call your assistant sends: a model, a GPU or its memory, and settings such as the context length. It never sees your conversation, only the call.
- What we keep. Nothing. The server writes no logs and keeps no record of calls or their arguments; each request is answered and forgotten.
- Rate limiting. Your IP address is used in the moment to cap requests at 120 a minute. Cloudflare counts per address for one minute and nothing is stored.
- Hugging Face. When you ask about a Hugging Face repo, the server fetches that repo's public metadata and config.json from huggingface.co, from Cloudflare's network rather than your device. Only the repo name is sent.
- Server logs. As for this site, Cloudflare keeps standard edge logs for a short period as part of running and protecting the service.
The version you run on your own machine with npx sends nothing to us at all. It contacts huggingface.co, directly from your machine, only when you ask about a repo there.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone for their own purposes.
- We do not use advertising or social media tracking pixels. There is no Meta pixel, no Google Ads tag, no LinkedIn Insight tag on this site.
- We do not store your IP address alongside your email.
- We do not build profiles, and nothing here makes automated decisions with a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
- We do not hold your workflows, prompts or outputs: the checkers read your files in your browser and never upload them.
Who else sees it
One company. The fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page tells nobody else that you were here.
| Who | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Hosting, CDN, the newsletter list and the daily counts (D1), bot protection (Turnstile) and privacy-preserving analytics. | Global edge network, including the EU and the United States. |
We will not add a processor quietly: a new one is named here before it sees anything.
Where your data goes
The newsletter list is stored in a Cloudflare database created in its Eastern Europe (EEUR) region, so the only personal data we hold (your email address and the few fields listed above) is stored inside the EU rather than replicated worldwide. The daily counts are kept in a separate Cloudflare database in the same region. Cloudflare operates a global edge network, so a request from you may be served by a data centre near you, and Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and offers the European Commission's standard contractual clauses for anything that does leave the EEA. If we ever move the database out of this region, this paragraph changes in the same commit as the move.
Your rights, and how to use them
If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to get a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time. Nothing here is conditional on you having an account or quoting a reference number.
Email info@nodegrove.io from the address you subscribed with and say what you want. We reply within seven days and act within thirty, which is well inside the month the law allows. We do not charge for this and we do not make you justify it.
If we get it wrong, you can complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Our lead authority is the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija), and you may also complain to the authority in the country where you live or work. You do not have to come to ours.
Changes to this notice
The version date sits under the heading at the top. If we change anything that affects what we collect or who sees it, we change that date, and if you subscribe to the newsletter when a material change happens, the next issue says so rather than relying on you re-reading this page.
Questions, or something here that does not match what you observe: info@nodegrove.io. Corrections are welcome and get made.
