Who you are dealing with
This site is operated by Nodegrove, a business run by its founder pending incorporation in Lithuania. Contact: info@nodegrove.io.
Incorporation in Lithuania is in progress. The registered company name, number and address are published here as soon as registration completes, and the version date at the top of this page will show when that happened. Nothing is charged under these terms in the meantime.
What these terms cover
They cover three things, and only these three:
- Reading nodegrove.io and the guides and reference pages on it.
- Using the calculators — the VRAM calculator, the speed estimator, the build-versus-rent calculator and the can-I-run-it checker.
- Joining the early-access waitlist.
They do not cover the Nodegrove service, because it does not exist yet. Renting an environment will be governed by a separate agreement covering price, what is included, support, uptime, data handling and how either side ends it. Nobody is charged anything under these terms, and nobody will be charged under a term they have not seen and accepted.
The calculators, and what the numbers are worth
This matters more here than the usual disclaimer, because people make purchase decisions from these pages.
Every figure on this site is one of three things: a published specification from a manufacturer or a model card, the output of a formula that is written out in full on the page that uses it, or a number you typed in yourself. Nothing here is a benchmark. We have not measured these models on these cards, and we do not present estimates as measurements.
Estimates are wrong in both directions. Flash attention and paged KV cache usually push real memory use below what we show. Batch sizes above one, vision encoders and some runtimes push it above. Speed estimates assume a single conversation and ignore prompt processing. We state the assumptions on each tool so you can judge them.
So: do not buy hardware on the strength of a number from this site alone. Check the model card, check the card's specification, and treat a tight fit as a maybe. We are not liable for a purchase that turns out not to suit you, and we would rather say that plainly than bury it.
If you find a figure that is wrong, tell us at info@nodegrove.io and we will correct it. Corrections are made publicly, in the same place as the error.
The waitlist
- Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
- It is not a queue with a guaranteed place. We may invite people in a different order to match the setups we support first, and we may not invite you at all.
- We may close the waitlist, delay the pilot, change what the pilot includes, or stop the project entirely. If we stop, we will say so to the people on the list rather than going quiet.
- Any price mentioned before the pilot is provisional and not an offer. A price becomes real when it is on a page you can accept, with terms attached.
- You can leave at any time, and leaving means deletion, not a flag on a row. The privacy notice covers what we hold and for how long.
Using this site
Read it, use the tools, quote from it. What we ask you not to do:
- Do not attempt to break, overload or probe the site or its API beyond ordinary use. Security researchers are welcome — write to info@nodegrove.io first and we will not treat a good-faith report as an attack.
- Do not submit other people's email addresses to the waitlist.
- Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other people. If you want the underlying data, ask — we will probably just give it to you.
- Do not present the site, or a copy of it, as your own or as endorsed by us.
The site is provided as it is. We try to keep it accurate and available, and we do not promise either.
Our content, and citing it
The writing, the design, the illustrations and the software behind this site belong to us. The underlying facts do not, and never could: architecture numbers come from published model cards, and card specifications come from manufacturers.
You may quote and cite this site freely, including the tables and the estimates, provided you say where the figure came from and link to the page it is on. We would rather be cited than protected. What you may not do is republish a page wholesale, or copy the tools and present them as your own work.
Screenshots in articles, forum posts, videos and reviews are fine and need no permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything written here.
Subject to that: the site and its tools are provided without warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for loss arising from relying on them — including hardware bought, capacity planned, or a project scoped on the strength of an estimate. Our total liability in connection with this site and the waitlist is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is zero.
When the service opens
Before anyone can rent an environment, we will publish a service agreement covering, at minimum: what a plan includes and what it costs, how GPU hours are measured and billed, what happens to your files when you stop paying, the notice period on both sides, our security commitments, who our infrastructure provider is, and a data processing agreement for anyone who needs one.
Two commitments we are willing to make in advance, and to be held to: you will see those terms before you pay, and you will be able to export your data and leave. The acceptable use policy is already published so nobody is surprised by it later.
Changes, and governing law
We may update these terms. The version date is at the top of the page, changes are visible in the site's public git history, and if a change materially affects people on the waitlist we will email them rather than assume they re-read this page.
These terms are governed by the law of Lithuania, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there. Nothing here removes a right the law gives you.
Until incorporation completes, the operator is the founder personally, and that person is answerable for everything on this page. Write to info@nodegrove.io and a person replies.
